Douglas fir is a lightweight deep pink coloured softwood which mellows to a lovely warm colour in use. A great timber for textured wall panelling to add warmth and atmosphere to living or sleeping areas. Great for deep texturing and can be supplied as a pre-textured veneer. Often with sound knots and a ‘river like’ grain figuring. Finishes well with Rubio Monocoat 2 component oils.
